Pajamas that are easy to nurse in are helpful. I had a couple of nursing nightgowns from http://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=946110364&MasterCategory_Id=MC29 for about $30 for summertime. In the winter button-down long-sleeved shirts or low-cut v-neck long-sleeved shirts worked well. I have friends who have just cut a big hole in the chest of a shirt that they used to sleep in. Just whatever is comfortable and makes it easy to nurse.
