books to prepare for a sibling

These are some of our favorite books to read with our two-year-old, in preparation for her new brother coming.

When You Were Inside Mommy – This one describes a baby's development inside Mommy.
I’m a Big Sister – This is a simple book that my daughter can almost read to us. It talks about what babies can and can’t do and how big sisters can help.
Baby on the Way – This one talks about how mama feels when she's pregnant and what the kids can do to help when mama's in labor. It also supports attachment parenting.
What Baby Needs – an attachment parenting book on what it's like to take care of a new baby and what siblings can do.
Oonga Boonga - One of my daughter's favorites. The baby's big brother knows how to make his baby sister stop crying.
Hello Baby – My daughter's current favorite book. The brother helps prepare for the new baby and helps take care of the baby after she is born.
Waiting for Baby – A fun book about a brother who is impatient for his baby to be born.
God Gave Us Two – A Christian book about the blessing of a second baby.
The Story of Me - A Christian book about how God made boys and girls different.

What are your favorites?
